Summary
After approximately 40 Minutes of flying pilot felt an increased amount of friction in brake line and the small ceramic keeper ring. On closer inspection of the brake line, it was apparent that it had become worn to the point of the outer sheath failing. On inspecting the keeper ring, pilot noticed that a small worn area had developed and become sharp which had over time damaged the brake line.
