Summary
During check pilot noticed that the lines holding the pod closed and the emergency parachute in place had frayed. They had frayed to the extent that they would no longer pass through the ceramic loops with ease. A break to the line could render the parachute unusable. The harness had 7 flight hours.

Five pilots were blown back over over a road to land in a field behind the site. the most extreme was over 300m back from the site. Pilots had been seen to not be penetrating wery much 30 mins earlier. There was a mix of wings flying from red-ribbon to EN D pilots.
