The pilot performed a recovery but the energy of the manoeuvre in proximity to the terrain led to a spiral to the ground, where they sustained injury. The pilot deployed their emergency parachute after the third stall and partial recovery, with only three seconds between opening and ground impact. Post-incident inspection showed extensive right-control line breaks, though it is unclear whether these occurred during the collapse, the stall recoveries, or the EP deployment.
